When a family moves from a situation such as domestic violence, homelessness or successful completion of drug and alcohol addiction treatment into a safe, new home, often they have little of what they need to bring with them. Share A Dream helps a woman and her family get started in their new home by providing some basic necessities.

Our club’s members donate kitchenware such as dishes, pots and pans, utensils and household items such as cleaning agents, paper goods, and trash bags. We assemble them in a laundry basket, bucket and box and add a gift card to fill in the gap for additional items the family may need. Usborne children’s books are also included as an extension of our support for literacy. The number of families who have applied for this program has increased substantially.
