to empower women
Our best time of year is when we present our Live Your Dream: Education and Training Awards to up to three single mothers and domestic abuse survivors living in our communities. The potential cash award of $16,000 offers the financial stability they seek as they work to achieve their education goals, reach their full potential and live their dreams.
so girls succeed
Dream It, Be It: Career Support for Girls mentoring shows girls in secondary school how to channel their girl power. Its well-researched curriculum helps them identify their values, explore career opportunities, set goals and overcome obstacles to their success.
for girls' scholarship
Through our Scholarships for High School Seniors program, up to 10 young women entering a post-secondary program receive the needs-based funding and mentorship that empowers them to succeed on campus and in their careers.
to aid families
We stay in close contact with partners running shelters and social services. This allows us to be more specific in our aid to the community of families solely supported by mothers who need help due to domestic upheaval, emergencies or setting up a home after leaving a shelter.
